About the illustration:

Ayrton Senna is a legend, everyone knows that. So when my client and friend Ricardo from Brasil contacted me to do another commission, I was very excited. This time we would work on the legendary Lotus 97T with the gorgeous John Player Special livery that Ayrton used in 1985.

As you may remember, Ricardo built a slot car place, and required the Porsche 917k artwork you might remember from the beginning of the year. This artwork would live in the same room, so I wanted them to be related somehow. I managed to build a coherence between both, by replicating the colors of the background, as well as the style of some of the speed lines. They look great together!
