Audi Quattro from the legendary Group B era. Driven by Michèle Mouton on the Pikes Peak hill climb of 1985.
Many people associate this car with Walter Röhrl but I decided to do Michèle instead. Since women are so underrepresented in motorsport, it’s a great opportunity when we can homage any of them. I hope you enjoy this artwork as much as I did producing it!
Fun fact: This started as a “quick sketch” to participate in the #MaySketchADay hashtag on Twitter, where you do one sketch per day to fight perfectionism and learn to be more effective. I absolutely lost the challenge and got detailing this more and more with each passing hour. Maybe next time 😅
