Creating Lightly

Ayrton Senna is a legend, everyone knows that. So when my client and friend Ricardo from Brasil contacted me to do another commission, I was very excited. This time we would work on the legendary Lotus 97T with the gorgeous John Player Special livery that Ayrton used in 1985.

Ricardo built a slot car place, and required the Porsche 917k artwork you might remember from the beginning of the year. This artwork would live in the same room, so I wanted them to be related somehow. I managed to build a coherence between both, by replicating the colors of the background, as well as the style of some of the speed lines. They look great together!
