Digital illustration of a side view of the McLaren GT.
Made using an official press release picture by McLaren Automotive and a celshading technique to capture different light and colour values.
The drawing was made entirely in Affinity Designer for MacOS.

This is one of my most detailed (and therefore, time consuming) illustrations yet.
I stopped doing this kind of detail in my pieces because it delayed the release too much, with little in return (If I just share the full image, you wouldn’t be seeing all this little bits due to resolution).
Reframing a lot later
As I said, the detail on this piece, and it being vector art, lets me go back and play again with framing and background, in order to change some things and make the artwork look fresh once again.
