Creating Lightly

Digital illustration of the Volvo V60 made in Affinity Designer.

This was a commission made for the Argentinian car magazine MiuraMag.

Renato Tarditti, MiuraMag’s director, and myself have been following and interacting with each other for some months on social media. After catching his eye with my Escaping Moonlight: Volvo 850 illustration, he got in contact with me to see if I was eager to use a similar style for a new illustration but with a newer Volvo model.

I had been eyeing a particular Volvo V60 for some time as inspiration, and wanted to collaborate with MiuraMag for many months now, so everything got into place and we went forward with it. I’m very happy with the result, and of course, by the fact that this was my first time (of many, I hope!) that I’ve been published on printed media with my artwork.
