About the illustration:

This is a very important illustration to me. It's not only one of my favorite cars of recent times, but the last illustration I did in 2018, the year I started to dip my toes into illustration, merging it with my love for cars, and solidifying my own style. It is also the first time I combined two reference pictures to make a composition I wanted.

The car is from an internet photo where the car is dead center in the frame. After doing that I figured I wanted something better for the background, so I went to my Xbox One, fired up Forza Motorsport 7 and purchased a Pagani Huayra to put it in a pretty background. Framed the whole thing with the in-game camera and used the resulting composition as a second reference (included down below).

I think it turned out pretty good, and will probably use this same technique in the future as it's super fun!
